Gak kerasa ya? Lebaran sebentar lagi. Sudah pada bayar zakat belum? Selain zakat fitrah, ada juga zakat mal.
Kali ini, saya pengen ngomongin soal zakat fitrah. Zakat yang biasa kita bayar dengan bahan pokok — umumnya beras —
Sudah lima tahunan, saya membayarkan zakat fitrah saya langsung kepada yang saya anggap membutuhkan, dengan wujud uang tunai. Bukan bahan pokok seperti layaknya orang-orang. Saya punya alasan sendiri kenapa saya memilih jalan itu.
Begini, pernahkah sampeyan berkunjung ke pedagang bahan pokok pada masa-masa hari raya? Saya pernah. Disana saya temui banyak penerima zakat yang menjual lagi beras yang diterimanya karena mempunyai kebutuhan lain yang lebih mendesak disamping bahan pokok. Selain itu, stok bahan pokok mereka di saat itu, bisa dibilang cukup melimpah.
Bukankah mubadzir, kalau bahan pokok itu akhirnya harus dijual kembali dengan harga yang tentunya lebih rendah dari harga jual si pedagang. Katakanlah harga jual 2,5 Kg beras (satu paket zakat) adalah 15 ribu, mungkin hanya bisa dijual kembali seharga 10 sampai 12 ribu.
Jadi, saya akhirnya memberanikan diri untuk mengambil kesimpulan kalau zakat dengan bentuk uang tunai jauh lebih bermanfaat bagi si penerima. Dan saya melakukan apa yang menurut saya baik dan bermanfaat. Soal kenapa mesti langsung? Tidak melalui masjid atau lembaga-lembaga zakat, saya cuma khawatir kalau zakat saya dibelikan beras sama panitianya.

tapi bisa juga lo bro kalu di kasih uang malah uang nya gak untuk kelangsungan hidup tapi untuk hal2 lain yang kurang bermanfaat. masalah penyerahan zakat lewat orang ketiga juga agak riskan juga sih kalu gak tepat sasaran, Intinya sih kalu pendapat ane, kalau berzakat, berzakat ke orang yang berada di lingkungan sekitar kita, jadi kita tau orang tu keadaannya. Tapi semua balik ke yang berzakat, yang di beri tanggung jawab buat bagi zakat n yang di beri zakat toh semua udah jelas dan udah ada aturannya

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
